Three individualized interpretations of Beethoven's nine symphonies, plus three manifestations based on the previous nine. In this way, the artists Maria Bertoldi, Roberto Giannecchini and Walter Miranda define the Beethoven project, which is presented from today at 2 pm at the Municipal Art Gallery of Guarujá.

Walter and Maria present paintings, while Gia shows sculptures-objects made of aluminum. The artists explain that the development of the project started from a joint study on the life and work of Beethoven, and then moved on to the execution of the works. This step constituted in each artist listening to the symphonies, at the same time that he performed the works. Other works were carried out with total freedom of creation, based on the experience acquired in previous works.

Maria Bertoldi talks about the realization of the project: It was just a record of a moment. The wonderful moment lived during a Beethoven symphony. And I got to know, I felt and listened to the symphonies and tried to colorize the most fantastic sounds of these true symphonic fantasies. The artist has an extensive curriculum, which includes participation in the Free Room of the Associação Paulista de Belas Artes, in the 44th Paulista Salon of Fine Arts, several Bunkyo salons, among others.

Gia highlights what was done by him within the project: The works were done in a completely handmade way, including the design and the realization of the mechanisms. The material used is almost exclusively aluminum matted with glass microspheres. This obeys my natural sympathy for aluminum, which despite not being very resistant, due to its lightness it allows free structures. Among the prizes received, the following stand out: Bronze Medal at the Plastic Arts Hall of Embu; acquisition award at the XI Salão de Arte Contemporânea de Santo André and Special Mention from the Jury, at the São José dos Campos Salon, among others.

Walter Miranda says that all his works follow a master line, achieved after several studies of light. He explains: in short, I make an analogy of the actions and inconsequences of humanity, currently on planet Earth. The artist participated in the VI, IX, and X Young Salon of Art of Santos, in several Salons of Contemporary Art in Piracicaba, in Salons of Contemporary Art in Santo André, IV Salon of Plastic Arts in Assis and many others.    The works are on display until August 2, at , 350, Dom Pedro Ave - Guarujá
